Gérard Pélisson was co-founder of the Accor hotel group and a close friend of Paul Bocuse. He served as Chairman of the Board of the Institut, helping build it into a world-renowned school for culinary arts and hospitality.

The two statues of Bocuse and Pélisson stand together at the entrance of the school's historic Château du Vivier in Écully — a tribute to their joint legacy in French gastronomy and hospitality education.

In 1990, Larry Work launched his own restaurant company and watched it take off in one of the most competitive markets in the U.S. Rather than wing it, he did what the best entrepreneurs do — he sought out a Business Coach who helped him triple his company's size within 12 months while keeping his personal life intact. That experience changed everything.

Today, through Longboard Hospitality, Larry brings that same transformative approach to restaurant and hospitality entrepreneurs nationwide.
